I made a blog entry last June on clothes made out of balloons and it gets better… this time around, some fashion designers made really nice clothes out of toilet paper. Got that right! The ever so functional sheet we use when we wipe our … in the bathroom! Haha.
The other designs look fabulous, too! I’m simply amazed with the fashion designers’ creativity and patience (!!!) in putting together these wonderful creations. Who would’ve thought that toilet paper can be made into something like this?! Super awesome.

I enjoy making roses out of toilet paper myself. A long time ago I had already considered trying to make a fashion item of sorts out of toilet paper, but I never did so far.

Yeah I read fashion mags because, and I’m not ashamed to admit it, pretty people in pretty clothes. Simply because I like pretty things. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not shallow and I don’t class anyone as ugly. I just like seeing people all dressed up =]
I read mags like Ageha, Pinky, Scawaii, Jelly, Ranzuki & other japanese GAL mags. I also read stuff like Vogue, Vanity Fair and teen vogue

Wow… clothes made purely out of toilet paper? That’s actually pretty damn cool. xP Impractical, but cool. That pink dress on the left doesn’t look half bad! Well, I like the top half,but I’m not a big fan of the skirt and how it splits like that.
Oh, they’re made out of TISSUE paper. That’s not toilet paper, actually. Tissue paper is the pretty colored paper that is used to stuff gift bags.
Hm, I guess you could say I was updated with the latest trends, just from what I see at school. I don’t tend to follow them though; I just do my own thing, and if it happens to match what other people are wearing, so be it.

Whoahhs, that’s really cool and cute at the same time! I wonder how people wear that…what if it rains? Or what is you accidentally get the dress caught in something and the toilet paper tears?! Uggh, that would be a horror mistake! Nevertheless, it looks like a work of art that I would display rather than wear!!

Yeah, it definitely does get stressful. I have loved 2009 though, and I am looking forward to a good end-of-year and a good Christmas. We used to go to family friend parties, but I didn’t like them because I got bored and there was usually no one to talk to. They were all a lot younger than me or a lot older than me and it was hard to talk to anybody.
I can’t believe that is toilet paper - it looks beautiful! I guess you could recycle it if you didn’t like the dress, but hey, it would rip pretty easily so I guess not. XD
I knew that some people made clothes out of garbage bags (unused ones).

1. I rarely follow trends but every now and then if I really like something then I might follow it.
2. I don’t really like reading fashion magazines since it mainly consists of fashion but I do sometimes read Vogue. Usually I just buy manga and anime magazines as well as Girlfriend, Dolly and Seventeen.

As for me and fashion . . . I do not follow any fashion trend. It’s too much work and it consumes too much money for me to follow all that! I’ll just stick with what I wear now — which consists of jeans, tee-shirts, sneakers, hoodies, and “plaid” shirts — and be happy with it.

Yes. I absolutely agree that those are awesome things to make it. They have to use very very strong toilet paper to make it, because it’s hard to wear it without having it become strong.

Oh man, those dresses don’t even look like toilet paper! I don’t think I would have that kind of patience. It must have taken forever because toilet paper is so flimsy! Haha. There’s a college scholarship in the US from the company that makes duct tape. If you make a prom dress out of duct tape and send in a picture, the most creative one wins like $10,000 for school!!
I like to think that I’m current on trends, but they’re just so expensive. And the cheap easy trends, like plaid shirts and wayfarer sunglasses are super common, and I don’t like matching people very much. =P But I do read fashion magazines, like Seventeen, Cosmo, InStyle, and Glamour. Most of them aren’t just fashion, like Seventeen and Glamour, but I get outfit ideas from them.

Wow, those outfits look really impressive! You can’t even tell from the photos that they’re made of toilet paper. I actually saw something similar to this once before; I think it was a wedding dress for someone’s art project, but this is taking it to another level! Very clever though.

_I don’t keep up with them at all, so I can’t say I follow any of them! Besides, most of the runway trends are only suited for people with a clothes size in the negative numbers, so automatically that makes them pretty useless to me.
_I don’t think I’ve ever really read fashion magazines, maybe just occasionally in a waiting room or something. I don’t read many magazines at all though, just the occasional issue of Cosmos (with an S - the science magazine, not Cosmopolitan!). I used to read The Bulletin (a news-type magazine, sort of like Time) too before they stopped making it.

Wow, that’s both crazy and impressive. Though I just don’t get some fashion designs. You don’t see people wearing that out in public, so is it just supposed to be an artistic statement? I like clothes, but not so much to wear runway designs.

Those look really gorgeous considering the fact that they were made from toilet paper. However, even though it looks great, I don’t think it’s really wearable since it’s definitely not waterproof and isn’t “solid” enough. The design itself is creative though, love the pink.

That’s amazing. I’m not a big follower of fashion but what I do see always makes me take a second glance. A lot of people think it’s pointless to make clothes that can never be worn off the runway or outside of a shoot but it’s art.
