Oh wow, it’s already October?! Insane. 2009’s coming to an end soon… but i’m really hoping and praying that there won’t be anymore tragedies, deaths, or super bad typhoons before the year ends. As you all know, Ondoy (or better known as Ketsana in other countries) hit the Philippines, and it hit my house pretty bad last Saturday. Flood inside our house - knee-deep, mind you! - and the day after - as if nothing happened. THE PHILIPPINES NEEDS YOUR HELP so if you have spare money in your Paypal accounts, please donate. Say hello to our new babies ~ UGLY DOLLS!!! I didn’t know they had a black version of the Icebat and since he’s very much fond of the color, I decided to surprise him with it. All the while he thought that I was having only my stuff shipped to his place in NY but he didn’t know that some of the stuff I bought was for him, too! Heehee. The blue Ox in the middle’s a freebie, actually. Gotta love the color! The Icebat keychain’s 4 inches high and the huge plush is about 12-14 inches? Yes, that big

1. It has not rained here since last winter. Quite sad, really, because I enjoy the rain! ;-; I’m always hoping that when there’s a head of clouds that it’s going to being some violent thunderstorm with heavy rains but noooo.

On October 16th, my sister and her friends organized a fund raising event for our school to gather money for the victims of the typhoon in Philippines. It’s going to be a lot of fun because they are inviting famous Youtube stars, singers, etc. and there will be lots of foood!

Yeah, so I’ve heard a ton about PI and all whats happened. To say “Sorry” isn’t enough. I mean, whoah. My grandma watches TFC (here in HI) and I’ve seen the torture mother nature has set upon that place. I’m so torn watching and hearing about it being that my family is from the Philippines. But, I’m glad you guys can sorta move on - I know it’s not a process to be forgotten because that’s the LAST thing. But, i’m REALLY thankful you guys are okay and that a lot of people pulled together as a family and helped each other out. We (Hawaii PI Club) has fundraisers to raise money for the people in the Philippines so I think that’s incredible.

Yeah, I’ve heard about some of the problems in and around the Philippines right now on the news here, it sounds really awful. Sorry to hear your house flooded, I hope the damage doesn’t/didn’t turn out to be too severe. Our house flooded once years ago when our neighbours were doing renovations and their water thingie burst, but even then the water was only ankle high at the most - I’d be totally freaking out if it was all the way up to my knees! Yikes.
